The big organic nursing pillow isn't your average nursing pillow: it's not made with polyester or foam. Instead, it's made with an organic cotton insert that's filled with the byproduct of shelled organic buckwheat seeds, and finished with a brass zipper.
Each pillow comes with a case made of OEKO-TEX certified washed linen. A single loop made of cotton-tape can be found on the inside of the case for storage or to hang dry.

We fill our pillows with buckwheat hulls due to the long history of therapeutic benefits that makes them:
→ hypoallergenic: buckwheat is not, in fact, a wheat at all, making it completely gluten-free; it's also a tough seed for mites and other unwanted critters to reside in.
→ temperature regulating: excellent air flow due to the hardness and tetrahedral shape of the seeds.
→ compostable: when you're ready to renew your hulls, toss the old ones into your garden; for up to two years they'll act as mulch until decomposing into rich fertilizer.
→ form-fitting: easily shift, remove, or add hulls to adjust firmness to your liking.
